But it’s not just Jo Ann’s professional accolades that make her stand out. Her career in Real Estate began in 1991 at Golden West Realty, she joined The Preferred Company (Preferred Real Estate Group) in 1995. After fifteen years she moved to Western Idaho Realty in Caldwell. In 2017 Jo Ann and her work partner Alan McRae opened Idaho Farm and Home Realty where she is the Broker, Co-Owner.

Upon entering real estate, Jo Ann immediately gave her heart to the industry and her community. She is a member of the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce and sat on the Board of Directors for over 8 years and has held numerous local Caldwell Board of Realtors committee chair positions including President of the Caldwell Board of Realtors® in 1996 and 1997 and as Realtor® of the Year in 1995. She is a member of the Canyon County Regional Realtors®, Idaho State Realtors® and National Association of Realtors®, 2001 Idaho State Chapter Secretary for Women’s Council of Realtors®, 2002 Canyon County Chapter President for Women’s Council of Realtors®, 2004 Idaho State President for Women’s Council of Realtors®, 2006 Idaho State Governor for Women’s Council of Realtors®, 2007 Business Woman of the Year for Canyon County Chapter Women’s Council of Realtors®. She stepped back into leadership by becoming 2012-2013 President of Canyon County Chapter of Women’s Council of Realtors®.  

Jo Ann was soon tapped by Jim Paulson to become a board member on the Idaho State Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Board (currently RRC). She was voted in as 2016 State Chair where she held the position for two years (2016-2017). She received the Idaho State CRS Member of the Year in 2015 and 2020. She served as a Network Director for Canyon County Network for several years. She currently has been Finance Chair for Idaho State RRC. And is incoming 2026 Idaho RRC State President.
